I choose the title of this painting because it seems to accurately describe what I am trying to convey to the person viewing the painting.

Chameleon as defines in the Webster dictionary states that it is “a person given to often expedient or facile change in ideas or character, or one that is subject to quick or frequent change, especially in appearance”.

In this painting I have attempted to suggest the complexity of human mind and body by taking advantage of abstract art. Only man is capable of thinking in the abstract, giving us the ability to see what is not obvious and understand our relationships with the world around us. In the end, it is left to the viewer to interpret what they will from this work as people do with all art, be it film, painting, or music.
