“Transition” represents a point in my career when I broke away from the usual creative process to find a new level of expression. Abstract art offers the opportunity to formulate abstract thoughts into another form of painting. It would be impossible to create a reality on canvas that could say something to the viewer in such a simple way.

This picture is simply an expression of elation in a swirling mass of fantasy, intoxication the dancer as she exudes her youthful “Joie de vivre”.
